(Photo by Streeter Lecka/Getty Images)We’re not nearly done with today’s slate of college football action, but it appears we have the play of the day. Surprisingly, it came from the Ball State-Indiana game.Indiana is heavily favored over Ball State, however, the scoreboard would hint at a potential upset brewing.Ball State only trails Indiana by a field goal in the first half of action. One of the main reasons the program is staying within striking distance is because of its success on the ground.Through two quarters of play, running back Caleb Huntley has 54 rushing yards and a touchdown.Although Huntley is doing the bulk of the workload in the backfield for Ball State, wide receiver Justin Hall had the best rushing attempt of the game.Hall received the ball on an end-around and leaped over two defenders from the Hoosiers. It may have seemed risky for Hall, but the versatile offensive weapon for the Cardinals managed to get the first down because of it.Check it out:GET. UP. THERE. @BallStateFB’s Justin Hall hurdles over TWO players. pic.twitter.com/T9tLhWfT6m— CBS Sports Network (@CBSSportsNet) August 31, 2019It’ll be hard to envision another play being more impressive than this for Week 1.While hurdling defenders is pretty sweet, it’d be even better for Hall if Ball State can upset Indiana to start the season.
