Motorola will soon launch the Moto X4, a new mainstream phone that is likely to sit between the Moto G and the Moto Z series. The latest image of the phone, leaked on Twitter, shows that the Moto X4 will be a fairly premium phone with features like dual-camera setup on the rear and all-aluminium metal body.According to an image shared by Evan Blass on Twitter, the Moto X4 looks like a device that will feature a design similar to that of the Moto G5 but will have a more premium finish and metal body unlike the plastic one that the G series phones have. The Moto X4 is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. It has been rumoured that the phone will have two cameras on the rear — something that can also be seen in the latest leaked image. One of these cameras is likely to use an 8-megapixel image sensor while the other one will have a more regular 12-megapixel sensor, possibly the same one used inside the Moto Z2 Play and Moto G5 Plus. The Moto X4 will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It will possibly have a 3000 mAh battery. Just like other Motorola phones, the Moto X4 too will come with the latest Android Nougat with its user interface left intact or, in other words, unmodified. For now no other details have been confirmed about the Moto X4. Although there are rumours that the Moto X4 will come with a design that will be waterproof. It will also have a fingerprint sensor on the front and a screen size of 5.2 inches.advertisementAlso Read: Moto E4 now available in India at Rs 8,999, Moto E4 Plus launching soon, confirms companyAlthough Motorola seemingly gave up the X series phones after Lenovo acquired it, there looks to be rethinking within the product teams at the company.
