Prep) returned to his indomitable form in goal with a season-high 13 saves despite a 4-1 defeat for Caltech men’s soccer at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges on Wednesday night.The Sagehens jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the opening 25 minutes as Caltech went without a single shot in the first half. Sophomore Tristan Née (Carrollton, Texas / R.L. Turner) tallied his second goal of the young season on the Beavers’ first shot in the 56th minute, but the hosts responded immediately with another pair of strikes in the 61st and 69th minutes.
